black lives matter is not a trend, it's a movement. we've progressed so much compared to past generations but this fight is not over. equal rights are still something minorities are still fighting for. not getting involved is a privilege that people fail to see. if you are silent or neutral, you are choosing the side of the oppressor. being "uneducated" in this day and age, millions of articles and research in less than a millisecond, is a choice. we're fighting against the same enemy, not about who has it worse. you have a voice and a platform, big or small, and you should use it to your FULL advantage. sign petitions, listen to who have been silenced for so long, educate yourself and others, have hard conversations with loved ones, and continue to be a good ally.
